Hippy Markets

Every Saturday throughout the year, the hippy market, restaurant, bar, gallery and music venue "Las Dalias" in San Carlos opens its doors to an eccentric crowd of sellers, craftsmen, artists and shoppers. This market started in 1954 and has since grown to become a popular weekly event bringing hippies, islanders and tourists together, offering a vivid mix of colours, arts, crafts, music and food for all ages. From May until October, the hippy market of "Es Canar" takes place each Wednesday in Punta Arabí, close to Santa Eulalia, selling a range of authentic crafts and jewellery.
