Miles of untouched coastline flanked by impressive cliffs, sprinkled with desert islands and bathed by crystal clear waters make Ibiza a unique paradise diving destination in the Mediterranean. Our professionally trained and experienced instructors run PADI diving courses - the internationally recognised certification. Just off the coast of San Antonio lies a group of 15 islands that make up the Cala d'Hort Marine Nature Reserve, which provides some of the best dives to be found anywhere in the Mediterranean North of San Antonio, you will find the Island of Ses Margalides which is well known as one of the best diving sites of the Balearic islands. Divers of all levels marvel at the rich diverse marine life in crystal clear waters, with visibility normally between 25-30 metres. Shipwrecks, Caves, Caverns, spectacular underwater panoramas and a rich eco-sistem will surprise you on every dive !

Scubaweek

With over 200 kilometres of spectacular coastline, Ibiza is a popular destination for both amateur and professional divers. The Posidonia prairies between Ibiza and Formentera are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and regarded as the most important bio-community on the Mediterranean coast. With options for cave and wreck diving, including the recently opened Don Pedro wreckage, Ibiza is fast becoming recognised as a world-class diving destination. The V Scubaweek takes place every year in October gathering Scuba enthusiasts to take part in a range of talks and presentations, pool diving competitions and/or getting to grasps with underwater photography.

PADI DIVING COURSES

Our scuba diving courses are based on the PADI teaching methods. The different PADI titles that are available in our dive centre are the following:

Discover Scuba Diving

Directed at those who want a quick introduction to the scuba diving world.  In only half a day it will allow you to experience the pleasure of diving and using self sustained breathing equiptment for the first time.  This option constitues the 1st module of the Open Water Diver course.

Scuba Diver

If you find you want to learn more and would like to obtain a title which allows a certain amount of independence but you are short on time (3 days minimum are needed), you can choose this course.  3 theory modules, 3 practical modules in confined water and 2 open water dives will allow you to dive to a depth of 12 metres under professional supervision.  This option constitutes the 1st, 2nd and 3rd modules of the Open Water Diver course.

Open Water Diver

If your objective is to become a fully qualified independent scuba diver then this is the course.  It includes the previous two options and they do not need to be completed beforehand (if you have completed them, then you will have already covered half the course).  The Open Water Diver course is based on 5 theory modules, 5 practical modules in confined water and 4 open water dives.  The duration of the couse is about 5 days and allows us to achieve the title of open water divers, allowing a diving depth up to 18 metres.

Advanced Open Water Diver

The course lasts 3 days. This course is directed at those who want to perfect their diving technique.  The course is composed of 5 speciality dives (2 complulsory and 3 optional):

First Emergency Response

First aid couse and CPR.  This course is highly recomended for all divers and non-divers alike.  It covers the basic notions that will teach us how to react in an emergency situation.  This is course or an equivalent course are a necessary requirement in order to continue the PADI course structure and to choose the Rescue Diver course.  The course lasts 2 days.

Rescue Diver

Course aimed at diving related emergencies.  You will learn how to react if you are involved in a real emergency situation.  The course lasts 5 days

Divemaster

This couse is for those who want to achieve the first professional qualification withing recrational scuba diving.  As a pre-requisite to achieving this title you will need to have obtained all the previous qualifications or equivalent courses, a first aid course completed within the last two years and a minimum of 60 logged dives before the end of the course.  The course lasts 10 days.

Specials

These courses allow you to develop specific areas of scuba diving that you are interested in, achieving an additional training that can be very useful.

When the weather conditions are not suitable for the practice of a watersport, this will be changed for SUP (Stand up Paddle Surf) or Surf. All watersports are run under the supervision of licensed instructors and expert local guides for all ages and levels.
