Sunset Point Sports Resort offers a wide range of sailing courses for kids and adults, from light sailing to cruising. The resort is located in the bay of San Antonio, a sailing playground for small boats, while the island coastline and waters at large provide a perfect environment for day cruising. Ibiza offers perfect conditions for sailing, thanks to its crystal clear waters blessed by a balmy Mediterranean climate with sunny days and mild temperatures throughout the year. The island has 210 km. (130 mi.) of scenic coastline and towards the south, Ibiza sticks out into the sea towards its sister island of Formentera, from which it is separated by 4 nautical miles and a chain of islets listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Kids Sailing Courses
- For kids and teens between 8 and 17 years old
- Optimist, Topaz. Gamba and Open Crusing J92S sailing boats
- Initiation and improvement courses
- Parental authorization needed
Adults Cruising Courses
Initiation Course:
- Handling and rigging of sails and boat
- Sailing with mainsail and headsail in all wind directions, reaching and running
- Gybing and tackling manoeuvering to change direction relative to the wind
- Sailing license will be handed at the end of the course
Improvement Course:
- Raising the level of sailing and manoeuvering
- Sailing with spinnaker, gennaker, drifter, etc.
- Sailing out at sea: Awareness of weather conditions, navigation techniques, etc
- Sailing license will be handed at the end of the course

SAILING Packages
- One week: 7 nights accommodation with breakfast and 5 days (4 hours/day) of sailing or cruising course
- Weekend: 2 nights accommodation with breakfast and 2 days (4 hours/day) of sailing or cruising course
- Special Language (1 week minimum): 7 nights accommodation with breakfast and 5 days of intensive English or Spanish language course (native teachers) and 5 days of sailing or cruising course (optional)
- Special Mixed: All packages, week or weekend, are taylor made and can combine one different activty or watersport each day
- Special Clinics (Exclusive courses for specific requirements): Clinics for Kids, Girls, Open and Pro (advanced and instructors)

When the weather conditions are not suitable for the practice of a watersport, this will be changed for SUP (Stand up Paddle Surf) or Surf. All watersports are run under the supervision of licensed instructors and expert local guides for all ages and levels.
